This time I tried using flash expecting it wouldn’t work at all. To my surprise, it turned out to be one of the best results so far. I held the camera very close to the subject so the flash ended up being uniform in all of the pictures. I think this contributed to all of the pictures turning out very crisp…aka…with sharp pixels.

An attempt to capture a large number of objects using my cell phone camera. I find it very annoying when it manages to stitch everything together but its gets all fuzzy and blurry like this. I don’t know what causes this.

For this series of models, I used the Olympus E-PL1 instead of the Canon T3i and the results seemed to be better. This model is part of a series of attempted 3D models made using a Olympus E-PL1 Camera, a cutting board with grid, and a LED light.

I noticed with this model, I had less pictures than my previous attempts, and the result is better with less photos.
